Adobe撤掉台湾办公室 业务整合到香港处理
拥有PhotoShop、Illustrator 等知名创意设计软件的奥多比(Adobe)公司，日前无预警结束台湾办公室的运营。不过Adobe表示，台湾业务一向采经销商模式，未来将会由香港办公室接手负责和台湾经销商的活动，在台业务不会受到影响。
对于为何要撤掉台湾办公室，Adobe仅表示此为运营策略考虑，台湾业务一向为经销商模式，因此并不会对既有客户带来直接冲击。Adobe在台湾的代理经销商有上奇科技和展碁科技，未来将由香港办公室直接和台湾合作伙伴接洽业务。而台湾办公室包含总经理黄中平在内，有九名正式员工遭裁员。
Adobe为全球最大之多媒体、设计软件公司，旗下包括全球企业广泛使用的PDF、网页设计工具Flash等市占率就超过九成，另外如PhotoShop、Illustrator、InDesign等绘图、排版软件也深受设计、美工人员喜爱。
虽然前两年因苹果iOS始终不愿意支持Flash，使得Adobe在进军移动平台之路较艰辛，但Adobe在财务表现上并没有负面效应。去年营收达42.1亿美元，今年第三季营收也超过十亿美元，是稳定成长的公司。据了解，台湾办公室业绩和获利表现都不差，对于Adobe选在此时裁撤台湾办公室，业界都感到意外。
